I tend to get through about half a dozen book on holiday and much prefer to have a selection with me rather than anticipate my desire. I did think I would only use it in those kind of exceptional circumstances but have also found that I like to choose, buy and begin a book whilst having a cup of tea in bed. I will always maintain an as-extensive-as-possible library of hardbacks though. I love my amazon Kindle!
